We felt that these popular and necessary tanks were a bit unappealing in their appearance so we decided to do something about it. Now you have a choice to help your tank blend into your property, stand out to make a statement or perhaps show your humorous side.

​How to get a CUSTOM COVER- Select your favorite, good quality photo from your personal collection. (A minimum of 150 dots per inch is recommended) It's so easy -just click on the appropriate tank category above, select the "CUSTOM COVERS" option, add it to your cart and check out. After your have completed your order: Just attach your photo to an e-mail and send it to us at tankcoversllc@gmail.com. Subject: Custom Cover.

Mounting the picture on your tank: The tank must be clean, dry and the temperature above 45 degrees. The "Accent" pictures can be mounted by one person. The larger pictures require two people. Find the center of the top of the tank and place a small mark. Find the center of the top of the picture and place a small mark on the back. Lay the picture on top of the tank matching up the center marks. Measure where the picture stops at each end of the tank to be sure the picture is centered. Adjust the height of the picture to your liking. Temporarily tape the picture in place to make sure it looks the way that you want it. (For heating oil tanks: create a flap to lay over the legs by making (4) 3.5 inch cuts in the picture, one on each side of the legs). In a small spray bottle, mix water and a small amount of dawn dish soap. Lightly spray the surface prior to adhering the picture. This gives a little movement to confirm the picture is will be straight. When proper placement is confirmed, begin removing the backing to expose the adhesive by peeling the backing down 2-3 inches at a time. Press the picture to the tank with a squeegee, preferably, or a soft cloth if a squeegee is not available. Continue this process all the way down the picture. If you get any large bubbles, you can pierce them with a pin to let the air out, then smooth the picture down. Lastly - step back and admire your newest home improvement!

Longevity of the picture varies and is dependent upon the climate. This product is easily removable, however if your tank is leased, we suggest that you obtain permission to use our product.
